With a few mouse clicks, show your PowerPoint® presentation to a web audience
in the next room or across the world. Simply open the presentation on your
computer and navigate through the slides using a convenient VioMeeting slides
navigator. Use your mouse to point to and highlight parts of your slides as you
would during a normal live presentation. Your audience will see the slides on
their screens and follow your presentation exactly as they would if they were
in the same room with you.
Collaborate with colleagues by sharing a real time view of what is happening on
the Presenter's Windows Desktop. Share any application (for example:
PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, etc.) running on the Presenter's computer with
remotely connected participants. Allow participants to take control of the
Presenter's computer and contribute their own ideas.
With presenter's permission, any meeting participant can take remote control of
the presenter's PC. Once remote control is authorized and established the
remote user runs the presenter's PC as if he was in front of it. This feature
is very useful for remote support, helpdesk, training, or remote demo
applications.
A full user-to-user messaging and chat capability is included with Viomeeting.
Any meeting participant can chat (exchange messages in real time) with another
participant or send public messages to all meeting participants. Additionally,
each meeting can be configured for moderated chat. This feature allows the
meeting host to accept or reject each public message before that message is
displayed to all viewers. Moderated chat is ideal for large meetings or
professional presentations where each question needs to be accepted before
being presented to the entire audience.
The meeting host or a presenter can share files with other meeting
participants. The files can be copies of the presentation, lecture notes,
associated documents, or any other files that would be useful for the meeting.
Voice and Voice over IP (VOIP) capabilities are integrated into VioMeeting
technology base. Participants of a meeting can hear each other via a phone
conference or, optionally, can use their computers for voice conference. With
VOIP, the presenter's voice can be delivered to all participants via their
computers' audio system providing significant financial savings over
traditional telephone conference calls and allowing presentations to a very
large audience at a reasonable cost.
Any meeting or presentation delivered via VioMeeting can be recorded and made
available for on-demand playback. Once recorded, the presentation can be viewed
at any time via a simple link.
Using the newest VioMeeting capabilities available shortly, a video image of
the presenter will be viewable in real-time by all meeting participants. This
feature will bring together audio, video and desktop sharing components of
VioMeeting and facilitate greater familiarity and interaction among the
participants.
